The bulk of the regular social players spoke and discussed at the AGM about changing social play to sunday as there will be greater continuity of court availability for social players and to hopefully grow the number of social players.
There is nothing worse than to turn away players or prospective members due to courts not being available.

Hi, good luck with that. I beleive the club shoudl still run social tennis on a saturday as well, using courts as they come available from the competition, after all the singles starts at 1pm and often you start getting courts free by 2pm onwards and alot fo courts free by 2.30 – 3pm. I don’t see why this can’t still be done. I am skeptical about sunday social tennis working. Alot of people want sunday for other activities, eg family time, and saturday for sport, unless of course your a seventh day adventist. The only clubs I know who have sunday social and no saturday social are belmont and maylands, and they are struggling with membership numbers. Bayswater should still be able to provided saturday social tennis.

hi everyone

I was unable to attend the AGM and also not in a position to nominate for any Board positions, however I am still very interested in the well-being of the club.
I have looked on the website for a notice announcing who the newly-elected Board members are and cannot find it. Have I missed it somewhere?
I have seen the advertisement for the Social Director still required, but at this stage cannot assist.

Hmm not sure – I have tested on 3 different computers and the pdf’s all open fine. You may need to have at least version 7 of Adobe Reader. The latest version is v.9.
